The primary objective of the institute is to promote entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurship in society through well-planned interventions for different segments of society and to contribute to the economic development of the state.

To train potential entrepreneurs for establishing micro, small, and medium enterprises.
To conduct training programmes for aspiring entrepreneurs, educated youth, artisans, and professionals.
To generate employment opportunities through skill-based training.
To undertake research, evaluation, and assessment studies in entrepreneurship and industrial development.
To organize workshops, conferences, and seminars related to entrepreneurship and MSMEs.
To assess industrial training requirements and enhance institutional capacities.
To disseminate knowledge and information for entrepreneurship development.
