Introduction

The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, U.P. (IEDUP), Lucknow, is a premier institute and a centre of excellence in entrepreneurship promotion and human resource development. Established in 1986 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh with the support of leading financial institutions such as IDBI, IFCI, ICICI, SBI, and PNB, IEDUP is committed to fostering entrepreneurship and industrial development. The institute conducts training programmes, capacity-building initiatives, research, workshops, seminars, and awareness programmes to promote skill development and entrepreneurial growth. Since its inception, IEDUP has trained more than 2 lakh individuals, including students, officers, teachers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, unemployed youth, women, and trainers.

It is an autonomous organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and governed by its own Board of Governors headed by the Chairman. IEDUP is involved in entrepreneurship and industrial development through well-designed interventions, i.e including training, capacity building, research, evaluation, workshops, seminars, awareness programmes, sensitization, and publications.

IEDUP has, since its inception, organized more than 8000 professional activities and trained more than 2 lakh individuals including officers, staff members, teachers, trainers, NGOs, unemployed youth, women and adolescent girls.
